FedEX Day

We offer our people the opportunity to give their work for one day to a meaningful project that they would like to pursue and that they are committed to. The objective is new and innovative ideas that make it easier for them or their colleagues to work and thus improve results. Participation is voluntary, with the sole rule: entrants must present their ideas. The hours spent on this by these workplace "solvers" is well appreciated.

Adéla Myšková

I joined the company in 2010 as an assistant in one of the divisions.

Shortly thereafter I was offered the position of buyer which I undertook for 5 years. As part of my work I had the chance to study at college. My diploma thesis concerned  Human Resources and I had the opportunity to consult with specialists in the HR field. After completing my studies, I was offered an opportunity within HR. After a year I was selected as the Recruitment Team Specialist, and I began to lead the team shortly thereafter. My career progress has been enhanced through experience and knowledge of operations across many different functions and departments.

Our company has helped me to find the type of activity that suits me best - and for people concerned about their career, there are plenty of different functions and activities to choose from.

 

 

Trainee program

School leavers can take up a full-time job within our Trainee program. New trainees are typically working on their first professional assignments – if they have an issue with a task or any other problem, they have a mentor (a nominated experienced colleague) they can turn to for advice and help. During their first year, the mentor helps trainees get used to life at work and start acquiring useful knowledge and experience. Trainees become familiar with the activities of various departments together with the way the whole company works. We also organise interesting training sessions, expert workshops, excursions and informal team events. Thanks to the program trainees get to meet many great colleagues and even make new friends.
